En activité depuis 2000, TheDuchy est l'un des endroits les plus anciens et les plus conviviaux sur le web pour s'informer sur le bondage par la corde. Il a été créé pour le simple plaisir de partager ce loisir amusant et excitant, et ce plaisir continue d'être notre force motrice.

Rope bondage is the art of safely and artfully restraining a partner — tying someone with rope, or securing them with cuffs, collars, or other restraints. It is the "B" in "BDSM" (Bondage & Domination / Dominance & Submission / Sadism & Masochism), and it is a widespread interest: in 2015, a study led by Christian Joyal surveyed over 1,500 adults and found that a majority reported curiosity about themes of dominance and submission. Whatever draws someone to it, our focus is the same — doing it safely.

It is clearly a widespread interest, and popular culture has taken note. Movies, television, and music videos feature BDSM themes — perhaps you saw the Netflix shows Sex Education, Bonding, or Love & Leashes, or read or watched 50 Shades of Grey. Rope and restraint have been part of storytelling for a very long time. If any of that has ever caught your interest, you already have a sense of what draws people here.

Qui sommes-nous ?

My name is Lazarus Redmayne® and I run this site and create all the tutorials. I get inspiration and help from Kajira Blue. We work with several models, but some of the older tutorials were done with a posable mannequin as well.

Les gens nous demandent sans cesse comment prononcer le nom de ce site ! Phonétiquement, c'est "the dutch-ee". On voit souvent des internautes l'épeler "The Dutchy" ou "the Dutchie", mais il ne s'agit pas de "pass the dutchie" ; ce terme a des racines beaucoup plus anciennes. Un "duché" est le nom des terres contrôlées par un duc ou une duchesse, qui constituaient le plus haut niveau de la noblesse dans la lignée de la famille royale.

Ce site a commencé sa vie avec un thème de château et de donjon, avec tous les éléments graphiques amusants qui l'accompagnent. Cependant, ce site ne cesse de grandir et d'évoluer. Nous avons abandonné le thème du château il y a longtemps, pour adopter l'esthétique plus propre et plus moderne que vous voyez aujourd'hui.
