Crown Knots & Wall Knots are very similar to each other. There is only one real difference in how you tie them, but that difference allows for a variety of different applications for each knot. These are often components of other knots and so it’s worth understanding the details and differences. For example, The Manrope Knot for example starts by creating a Wall Knot then adding a Crown Knot on top of it. The Diamond Knot starts with a Crown Knot and then adds a Wall Knot on the outside of that...

These knots are inverses of each other -- a Wall Knot is a upside down Crown Knot (going the other way) … and a Crown Knot is a upside down Wall Knot (going the other way) … 😉
