Creating a Scene

Into the Woods

One of our members recently asked for advice about outdoor rope scenes and photoshoots. This inspired us to create a CAS out of a photoshoot from awhile back. See the annotated picture below for how this scene was tied.

As a companion to this post, we also published CAS - Outdoor Scenes & Photography with a checklist of things to think about if you, too, want to play outdoors!

A slim, but athletic, young woman is tied with her back to a large tree. An anchor point has been tied to the tree out of reach above her head. Her hands are tied together and are above her head, connected to that anchor point. She is standing on one leg because the other is tied in such a way that it cannot touch the ground. There is a cuff of rope around her leg just above the knee with a rope leading from that cuff up to the anchor point. She is dressed for hiking; wearing black leather hiking boots, red socks, blue jeans, a black crop top, and green jacket, which is open. Her midriff is exposed. Her belt and top button of her jeans are undone.
