Pray for Forgiveness, Witch

Long have men fallen prey to your wiles, Witch. It is your turn, now, to pray.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to ... be unrepentant

A kneeling prayer tie scene featuring a pentagram harness and enforced kneeling position.

(From a shadowed corner, a measured voice full of dark purpose rolls into the room.)

Stunning.

You always were stunning.

From the moment you were first committed to my cloister, to the moment you escaped to pursue ... this 'alternative path' your keepers feared ... always stunning.

That is why, I'm sure, they gave you to me in the first place. This was no moth-to-a-flame scenario. No accidental temptation to which you fell victim. No, this was a specific choice. They could see you making it. You looked ahead at the paths of purity and, scoffing, turned aside to sashay with purpose down the seductive red-silk roads to depths of depravity I will not sully my mind trying to image.

... and you brought so many men with you on that journey. Even one of my most devout fell to you. ... ...

Well. Those paths -- the paths to perdition -- are behind you now. My faithful finally caught you, my prodigal, and brought you back to me. Your education will resume. I will strip from you those red 'garments' you so proudly donned -- both those of expensive cloth and those of your maladjusted mind -- and replace them with the clarity and certainty of unquestioned obedience to the path of right.
